TAPAS & KART

By Bernard Coll

What could be better than recovering a pair of Kart wheels, an old oak wood meat cutter and a cast iron coffee table base?

Fusing everything to make a practical and original set consisting of two stools and a small table to have some “tapas”.

As you can see in the images, I used three materials: cast iron for both seat and table legs, wood for the table surface and rubber to create the seats.

The image shows the metamorphosis that the passage of time has on the wood element which combined with a proper chromatic effect becomes a flavourful and appetizing piece of meat.
