born of a broken mirror

We were both unlucky and lucky enough to have an old mirror break.
It only took us five minutes to decide what we were going to do with so many pieces of glass. We cut out and polished ten octagonal pieces and then we cleaned and varnished the grille.

Finally we fixed each of the ten pieces to the grille with a plate painted in a different colour. Moral of the story: NO GOOD DEED IS GOOD FOR A GOOD CAUSE.
